Davido slams APC youth leader, Dayo Israel over Adeleke’s re-election victory

Davido has taken issue with APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel over his comments about the role the singer played in Ademola Adeleke’s re-election in Osun State.

In a post about the election, Israel said Davido’s influence, networks and reach helped the campaign connect with young voters. He also said the singer brought artistes, influencers and other young voices into the campaign.

Davido disagreed with that account, saying he supported his family but did not bring people into the campaign.

In response to Dayo’s claims, he wrote:

“I brought no one! No one defended me! I backed my family on my own!! You guys r ruthless n disgusting! Eeewwww! I have done my job! Nigerian politics is evil AND I DONT WANT TO BE A PART OF IT TILL GOD HELPS US!”.

Davido supported his uncle during the election but said he does not want to be involved in Nigerian politics again.
