Suicide Bomber In Somalia Blows Self Up While Hugging Government Official

An Islamist militant suicide bomber put his arms around a Government official as if in a hug and blew both of them up in the autonomous Somali region of Puntland today.

The Islamist militant group al Shabaab, which frequently targets officials in its bid to overthrow the Western-backed Somali government, issued a statement taking responsibility for the attack.

A motorist was arrested after driving six miles - with his screaming wife on the roof. Richard Addy reportedly told police he had quarreled with his wife after leaving a restaurant and claimed to have no idea she was there.

FIFA, the world's football governing body has banned Ivory Coast and Sunderland defender Emmanuel Eboué for one year. FIFA passed the judgement on the former Arsenal defender this morning for refusing to pay his agent for agent fees owed.

Mrs. Oghosa Ejemai, a housewife who allegedly lost her seven-week pregnancy and sustained injuries, following alleged attack by officials of the Edo State Government, yesterday threatened to sue the State Government for the sum of N100 million for assault.

Protest As Naval Officers Kill Three In Arepo

There was tension in Arepo, in the Obafemi Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State on Wednesday after some naval officers allegedly killed three residents.

The victims, identified as Biodun Mohammed, Chicago and Body, were said to have been rounded up on Sunday at a beer parlour in the area. The men were said to have been taken away and shot dead.

The police in Lagos have arrested a chief in the Ijegun area, identified only as Ajiroba, for allegedly assaulting a bread seller, Bukola Olasunkanmi, in the Isheri-Oshun area of the state.

ISIS Monster Beheads Kurdish Soldiers In Broad Daylight In An Attempt To Warn Kurdish Forces, Government

ISIS has released a new video in which three Kurdish soldiers are brutally executed in the street in broad daylight. The six-minute clip was released showing a bearded ISIS member beheading three Peshmerga soldiers in an Iraqi street.

This Day reports that the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB) on Tuesday, March 29, issued a 72-hour ultimatum to President Muhammadu Buhari to intervene and free 76 people from Ugwuneshi in Awgu local government area of Enugu state, who defended their property and women against the Fulani herdsmen. The group also demanded the immediate release of two women who were allegedly abducted by the herdsmen on their way to their farms. The ultimatum was contained in a statement made by Emma Nmezu and Clifford Iroanya, the spokespersons of IPOB.

China’s Sha’anxi Province is still reeling from shock after a pregnant woman died after her head got stuck in railing. Videos showed the woman knelt down on the road, with her head stuck in a guard rail. From CCTV footage, passersby tried to rescue her by pulling apart the rails, but failed.
