She spoke about her concern after recounting an experience with garlic she had bought.
According to her, she blended the garlic and went downstairs, but when she returned after some time, she noticed that the colour had changed.
Drawing from her personal experience, she questioned the quality and safety of some of the products being sold to the public.
In a post she shared, she said:
“Dear Nigerians, I’m speaking to you today with a heavy heart and deep concern about the circulation of fake products in our country. Every day, we buy different products believing they are safe, but sadly, some are poorly produced, contaminated, harmful and fake. This is a threat to human life. Imagine little children battling kidney failure.”
She also called on NAFDAC to look into the situation, stressing the need for Nigerians to be protected from products that could put their health at risk.
