Isaac Fayose slams Reno Omokri’s UK-Nigeria fuel price comparison

Isaac Fayose has publicly criticized Reno Omokri over his recent comparison of fuel and living costs in Nigeria and the United Kingdom.

Reacting to Reno Omokri’s comments, Fayose argued that comparing fuel prices and everyday expenses in both countries without considering the huge difference in workers’ earnings was misleading.

According to him, “Reno Omokri is not as smart as I thought. Comparing the cost of fuel and shaving in Nigeria to the cost of fuel in the UK is not smart thinking.”

Fayose went further to highlight the gap between the minimum wage in both countries, saying, “Minimum wage in Nigeria is 70k (£35) per month, while minimum wage in UK is £2500 (5 million) per month. Please what’s the sense in that?”.

He also mocked the former presidential aide, adding, “They don give you ambassador and they don lock your bra!n inside too.”

Many Nigerians have continued to discuss the growing cost of living in the country, with some agreeing that comparing prices in Nigeria and the UK without considering the wide difference in wages does not give a complete picture.
