Nigeria Records 89 New Cases Of COVID 19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 89 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 163,581.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday. “On the 8th of April 2021, 89 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 163,581 cases have been confirmed, 154,005 cases have been discharged and 2,058 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

 “The 89 new cases are reported from 13 states- Lagos (22), Kaduna (2), Cross Rivers(18), Bauchi (3), Ekiti (1), Nassarawa(9), Akwa Ibom(4), Ebonyi (1), Ondo(6), Delta (5), Zamfara (2), Kano(10) and Rivers (18),” the NCDC said.
