“Invite Igboho to name k!dnap sponsors” - Paul Ibe tells DSS

Paul Ibe, media adviser to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has called on security agencies to invite Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho to provide information on individuals he alleged were behind the recent abduction of students and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Ibe made the call in a post on X following comments by Igboho in a viral video where he claimed to know politicians sponsoring k!dnappers operating in Oyo state, stated that he could disclose their identities.

“Since Sunday Igboho claims to know those behind the abduction of students and teachers in Oriire, Oyo State, I think that the State Security Service and other security agencies need to invite him to release those names to them,” Ibe wrote.

The former vice-presidential aide argued that any individual with information that could assist security agencies in tackling kidnapping and other violent crimes should make such information available to investigators.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has yet to comment on Ibe’s call.
