Oyo Abduction: Teachers protest in Ibadan

A group of teachers in Ibadan has taken to the streets in a peaceful protest, demanding urgent action from the government over the abduction of students, primary school pupils, and teachers in Esiele, Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

The demonstrators began their march at Iwo Road and are currently moving toward the Oyo State Secretariat, where they plan to submit their demands to state officials.

The protest has remained orderly, with no disruption to traffic along the route as security operatives closely monitor the situation to maintain peace and prevent any breakdown of law and order.

The teachers are calling on the government and security agencies to intensify rescue efforts to ensure the swift return of the abducted victims to their families.
