The incident came to light when Facebook user Dr Paul Ezikel shared a video of the altercation on his page Monday morning.
According to the post, the confrontation occurred aboard a United Nigerian Airline flight from Asaba, Delta State, to Lagos.
VDM and Mr Jollof have had a long-standing feud online. The tension escalated after VDM accused the comedian’s wife of being involved with internet fraudsters, sparking heated exchanges on social media.
VDM later confirmed the in-flight scuffle on his Facebook page, posting a video in which he claimed to have confronted Mr Jollof. “I don chop Jollof father for inside plane. He bite me, man wey de bite,” he said.
The video has since circulated widely online, drawing reactions from fans and followers of both personalities.
