According to Daily Post, the updated policy requires travellers to book a confirmed return transfer along with hotel reservations before a tourist or transit visa can be processed.
Eligibility has also been tightened: only women or families can now apply, while male travellers must be accompanied by their families.
Additionally, visa approval will only be granted for bookings at 5-star hotels.
The new rules take effect immediately and apply to all pending visa applications.
