IGP orders probe of K1 De Ultimate’s airport incident

The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the Nigeria Police Force command at the airport to investigate ace Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde following his confrontation with airport officials.

The music star was involved in what has been described as unruly behavior last week when he allegedly obstructed the safe operation of an aircraft, violating Nigerian Civil Aviation Regulations.

In response to inquiries from Daily Trust, the Force spokesperson, Deputy Commissioner of Police Olumuyiwa Adejobi, confirmed that the IGP directed an immediate investigation into the incident.

Adejobi stated that the IGP wants the police to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the altercation and ensure justice is served.

He added that the swift action followed the police high command’s receipt of a formal petition from the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
