Nicki Minaj accuses Jay-Z of owing her over $200M

Rap star Nicki Minaj has publicly accused colleague, Jay-Z of owing her $200m, claiming the debt is tied to unresolved issues from their past business dealings.

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account on Tuesday, the ‘Pink Friday’ rapper alleged that Jay-Z owes her between $100 million and $200 million, and called on him to settle what she described as a “karmic debt.”

“We’ve calculated about 100-200MM so far. #JayZ call me to settle this karmic debt. It’s only collecting more interest. You still in my Top 5 tho. Let’s get it nigga,” she wrote.

Minaj has repeatedly voiced frustrations over what she believes were unfair Tidal equity payouts following the streaming platform’s sale in 2021—a deal Jay-Z spearheaded. She alleges that she was shortchanged during the process and has hinted at legal action if the matter isn’t addressed.
