Nigeria Records 674 New Cases Of COVID 19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 674 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 184,593.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday. “On the 19th of August 2021, 674 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 185, 267 cases have been confirmed, 167,923 cases have been discharged and 2,244 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos(335), Rivers(87), FCT(38), Ogun(33), Akwa-Ibom(32), Oyo(32), Edo(22), Ekiti(20), Kwara(17), Delta(12), Bayelsa(8), Gombe(5), Kaduna(4), Osun(4), Enugu(2), Nasarawa(2) and Plateau(1).
