Nigeria Records 655 New Cases Of COVID 19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 655 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 188,243.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Tuesday. “On the 24th of August 2021, 655 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 188, 243 cases have been confirmed, 169,035 cases have been discharged and 2,281 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos(288), Rivers(188), Oyo(64), Akwa-Ibom(31), FCT(28), Ekiti(21), Edo(17), Bayelsa(11), and Kaduna(7).        

Please get the Vaccine, it may not prevent you from catching it but it will ensure that the strain does not Kill you when you catch it.
