Nigeria Records 565 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 565 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 187,588.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Monday. “On the 23rd of August 2021, 565 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 187, 588 cases have been confirmed, 168,818 cases have been discharged and 2,276 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos(205), Rivers(73), Ondo(63), FCT(53), Oyo(53), Ekiti(37), Delta(24),Edo(20), Benue(12), Bayelsa(6), Kwara(6), Osun(6), Ogun(5) and Adamawa(2).
