Nigeria Records 388 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 388 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 187,023.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Sunday. “On the 22nd of August 2021, 388 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 187, 023 cases have been confirmed, 168,455 cases have been discharged and 2,268 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos(166), Akwa-Ibom(89), Rivers(76), Oyo(15), Edo(12), Benue(11), Delta(7), FCT(4), Ogun(4), Kaduna(2), Gombe(1), and Nasarawa(1).
