Sokoto govt budgets N155M to purchase motorcycles for Islamic scholars to propagate Islamic activities in the state

The Sokoto State Government has approved N155 million for the Ministry of Religious Affairs to provide motorcycles to Ulamas (Islamic scholars) in the state for the propagation of Islamic activities.

 The state Commissioner of Information, Isah Galadanchi, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the approval was given at the State Executive Council meeting on Thursday, May 20.
