Nigeria Records 37 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 37 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,419.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Sunday. “On the 9th of May 2021, 37 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 165,419 cases have been confirmed, 156,297 cases have been discharged and 2,065 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .

 “The 37 new cases are reported from 7 states- Lagos (12), Yobe(13), FCT(3), Edo(1), Akwa-Ibom(6), Kaduna(2) and Ogun(1),” the NCDC said.
