Nigeria Records 100 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 100 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 164,588.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday. “On the 22nd of April 2021, 100 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 164,588 cases have been confirmed, 154,5 cases have been discharged and 2,061 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .

 “The 100 new cases are reported from 9 states- Lagos (21), Taraba(64), FCT(4), Kaduna(2), Rivers(3), Nasarawa(1), Akwa Ibom(2), Oyo(2) and Bauchi(1),” the NCDC said.
