Is This Fake News Too – Banky W Asks Nigerian Army Over Video of Soldiers Flogging Civilians

Popular Nigerian singer and politician, Banky W has lashed out over the viral video of Nigerian soldiers assaulting civilians in Ibadan.

 From a video that surfaced on the internet, soldiers were seen flogging a woman over her mode of dressing, and a man also whose hair got trimmed with scissors. 

 In reaction, Banky W tasked the Nigerian Army with calling it a fake video, one that is probably ‘photoshopped’ just as the Army debunked the shooting footage from the Lekki tollgate area.

 He wrote, 

“Dear @HQNigerianArmy … is this fake news too? Soldiers assaulting young women and shaving the hair of young men… is this “photoshop” too? Cc @seyiamakinde @MBuhari”.
