Police dismiss SARS officer involved in footballer Tiyamiyu’s death

SARS officer, Olaniyi Ogunsoro, who was involved in the killing of Remo Stars assistant captain, Kazeem Tiyamiyu has been dismissed from the force.



The footballer, was crushed by a hit-and-run driver after he was arrested by the SARS officers and was being taken to their office in Abeokuta.

A new report by Punch Nigeria revealed that a officer involved in the incident has been dismissed from the force.

Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed that the erring officer had been dismissed from service. He said;

“The SARS officer Olaniyi Ogunsoro has been dismissed from service,”
