Lupita Nyong’o, Jennifer Lopez, David Oyelowo at the 11th Annual Governors Awards

The Governors Awards, which is organized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, is the official start of awards season.



This year’s event was held on Sunday night (October 27) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

The event was attended by Lupita Nyong’o, Regina King, Jennifer Lopez, David Oyelowo, Daniel Kaluuya, Jodie Turner-Smith, Lena Waithe, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Keke Palmer and more.
