It is an offence to carry pepper spray in public – Nigerian police

The Nigerian police force has made it known that carrying pepper spray in public is infact a criminal offence.



A lady had tweeted her ordeal to Abayomi Shogunle, the Assistant Commissioner of Police that she had been arrested for carrying pepper spray with her. He replied telling her it is an offence.
