Mary J. Blige Wows For New York Magazine, Talks About Dealing With Her Pain

The queen of hip-hop soul,Mary J Blige is starting her year 20018 on a fabulous note.After her surprise Oscar nomination,things seem to be looking up for the star.



She covers the New York magazine’s spring issue where she showed off major skin in fabulous outfits.
In July 2017,she was ordered to pay estranged husband and former manager Martin “Kendu” Isaacs $30,000 a month in temporary spousal support.

Blige has mountains of debt and owes million to the IRS. Plus she’s paying Isaacs $30,000 a month in spousal support.She told the magazine.

“You have to pay those taxes,” “It’s good to see what you have and what you don’t have — and why are we paying this person $5,000 a week?”

“I hate pain, but I know how to deal with it,” Blige said. “To do the assignment God has sent me to do, I have to live certain things. And unfortunately I’m constantly living it. You understand what I’m saying? It’s like trying to talk to a prison class, but you’ve never been to prison.”
