A man identified as Kola has reportedly committed suicide over a N60,000 loan.
The deceased who is a father of 3, is said to have taken his life due to his inability to pay back the N60k loan he secured from a Micro Finance Bank to purchase a motorcycle.
The incident which happened at Egbeda, saw Kola, drinking Hippo stain remover after the bank he borrowed from LAPO Microfinance company, threatened to seize his entire property after taking back the motorcycle, due to his failure to pay back as agreed.
On the day the incident happened, it was gathered that the bank threatened to carry all his house property and hand him over to the Police.
It was then that Kola secretly bought Hippo stain remover, drank and died inside his room on top of his bed.
When his family who went to the church returned, they found him dead with the empty Hippo plastic container beside him.
