Yorubas, Hausas Clash In Ile-Ife, Osun(Photos)

There is an ongoing clash between the Hausas and Yorubas In Ile-Ife, Osun state with at least five people feared dead.



The crisis which reportedly started Tuesday night has caused widespread panic around lageere and sabo area of the town as residents have all ran to safety.

Although, the cause of the inter-tribal clash is still sketchy, Reports gathered that trouble started after a Yoruba woman and Hausa woman engaged in a heated argument in Sabo area.

Policemen who were expected calm the situation were said to be beaten mercilessly by angry mob.

Angry mob were seen destroying goods belonging to the Hausa traders at lageere in retaliation to the havoc done by the Hausa around at Sabo market.

More Reports says that Hausa indgenes were using arrows in fighting their Yoruba host.
