Dino Melaye Blast Sahara Reporters Over Claims That He Did Not Graduate From ABU

Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West in the Nigerian Senate has lambasted online news portal, Sahara Reporters for reporting that he did not graduate legitimately from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.



Sahara Reporters had claimed Melaye never graduated from the department of geography from ABU.

The news platform also claimed that the DSS was alerted about the matter but that the security agency covered it up and allowed the man blossom.

“At least three exam officers at ABU, Zaria insists that @dino_melaye never graduated from geography department, DG DSS alerted but covered it up,” the report said.

They said Dino’s name was not on graduation list and further accused him of bribing his head of department.

But in a statement released on his Facebook page Monday afternoon, Senator Melaye described the report as spurious and an advertisement of hate.

According to him, “Sahara Reporters have promoted their stupidity and hate to an advertisement level.

“One will imagine how you did not graduate from a university and still be able to run masters in the same school. I am presently a student of ABU running my 3rd degree programme in the same university and 7th degree in whole.

“No amount of blackmail,lies,intimidation,harassment,name calling will detract my attension from speaking the truth at all times. I have conquered fear. I fear no soul,I only respect souls. Fake documents paraded by Sowore only exhibit the desperation of his pay masters. I ready for una. God pass man”
