The Court of Appeal on Thursday, October 27, dismissed Senate President Bukola Saraki’s appeal challenging his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT.
The judgement, which was delivered by a panel led by Justice Abdul Aboki, dismissed the appeal and held that the appellant’s submission was laced with sentiments.
JJustice Aboki further struck out a cross appeal by the appellant filed at court, saying that it was “smuggled in”.
Saraki is standing trial for alleged false declaration of assets.
