Appeal Court Dismisses Saraki's Bid To Stop CCT Trial

The Court of Appeal on Thursday, October 27, dismissed Senate President Bukola Saraki’s appeal challenging his trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal, CCT.



The judgement, which was delivered by a panel led by Justice Abdul Aboki, dismissed the appeal and held that the appellant’s submission was laced with sentiments.

JJustice Aboki further struck out a cross appeal by the appellant filed at court, saying that it was “smuggle‎d in”.

Saraki is standing trial for alleged false declaration of assets.
