Nigerians Welcome Aisha Buhari in Washington DC, US

First Lady, Aisha Buhari arrived at Dulles International airport Washington D.C for a weeklong visit. The beautician was received with a rousing welcome by Nigerians.



On arrival she was received by the Nigerian Embassy envoy, some Nigerian state governors’ wives, the Zumunta Association, USA chapter, and Nigerians in diaspora.

According to Sahara reporters, Aisha Buhari is expected during her visit to attend meetings at the George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She will also be hosted by the United States Institute of Peace, in collaboration with Voice of America, and attend the 25th Anniversary celebration of Zumunta Association USA Inc.
