Sweating is the natural process of the body through which, it releases its toxins, but what if that natural course of action becomes deviant by becoming a disorder. Excessive sweating or hyperhidrosis is one such disorder that is out of the ordinary and so atypical that it can even embarrass you. So, before you face some more trouble because of excessive sweating, get rid of it by following the below given home remedies.
Tomato juice:
Tomato juice is a super nourishing drink and delivers a number of health benefits. It is packed with vitamins and minerals. Its potassium content alleviates weakness and the vitamin C in it, is a strong antioxidant. Drink fresh tomato juice twice daily. After a week you will be able to discern its efficacy in reducing sweat. Continue drinking this juice till your problem is solved.
Avoid sugary,spicy foods and caffeine:
A strong coffee might make your taste buds happy but they could also stimulate your sweat glands in a not-so-comfortable way.
Avoid sugary, spicy, and chemically-processed foods. You are what you eat. Spicy foods may be delightful, tasty, and even healthy, but they do cause your body to sweat more frequently in short time periods. A large intake of chemical toxins will aggravate sweating. The same goes for high fructose syrup used by some manufactures to sweeten food. It gets even worse especially for overweight people. Any of those instant, pre-made, packaged, frozen, greasy, ready-to-eat and fast foods are an absolute no no.
Reduce Salt intake:
You also need to reduce salt if you want to prevent excessive sweating. Too much salt contains sodium ions which is one of the minerals extracted out of the body during the sweating process and when you reduce eating salt, your sweating also reduces.
Avoid Excessive use of Deodorants:
Some deodorants actually block the pores spaces in the skin which later cause heat in the body. Thick oily deodorants are not meant for people at certain seasons, so you need to avoid the use of such to prevent more sweating.
Wear Bright Colour on Sunny Days:
You can prevent heat that causes sweating based on the type of color of the cloth you wear. Science teaches us that dark colour absorbs heat and light colours does not. If you are the type that of person that sweat too much, choose to wear bright colored dress during hot weather which will prevent sweating excessively.
Use antiperspirant in the afternoon: Sweat production is at its lowest at night, giving the active ingredients in antiperspirants a better chance to get into your pores and block perspiration in the morning. It’s okay to reapply in the morning, but don’t worry about the product washing away in the shower because the ingredients have already penetrated your sweat ducts.
Potato:
Potato is very common and very cheap but it is very effective in reducing sweat and its unpleasant smell. Squeeze the juice of raw potatoes and apply it to your underarms. Apply at least twice a day. The juice of raw potatoes inhibits the sweat glands from being overactive.
Wear loose Cottons:
You can also prevent sweating excessively through the choice of clothing materials you use. Avoid clothes made with synthetic fabrics, opt for more natural, lightweight, wear loose-fitting clothing and breathable fabrics like cotton.
Avoid taking hot baths:
While baths may be useful in eliminating toxins through increased body temperature, the problems of excessive sweating surely outweigh their benefits.
Drink a lot of water:
Hydration keeps body temperatures low and therefore less sweat will be produced. Water is vital to life. It effectively flushes out excess minerals and pushes out all toxins and waste products. Experts recommend six to eight glasses of water everyday.
