$1m for anyone who can beat my hit songs – Davido

Davido is not backing down from his claim that he has one of the strongest catalogues in Afrobeats. The singer has challenged his colleagues to prove him wrong, saying he is willing to put $1 million in cash on the line for a direct comparison of hit songs.

Davido made the statement during a conversation with Darvel, where spoke with confidence about the number of successful songs in his catalogue. Rather than simply making the claim, he said he was ready to put serious money behind it.

“I’ll put up a million dollars. I’ll do it versus anybody. A million dollars cash. Nobody got more hits than me. Cash,” he said.

The challenge leaves the door open for any of his colleagues who believe they can match or surpass his record of hit songs.
