Even a corpse will defeat Tinubu in 2027 – Galadima

A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Buba Galadima, has expressed strong confidence that President Bola Tinubu would be defeated in the 2027 general election, even under what he described as extreme circumstances.

Galadima made the statement on Tuesday while addressing delegates at the party’s convention, where he also accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of undermining opposition parties in the country.

“I want to remind them that even if there is no living human being in Nigeria, and we bring a corpse in a coffin and put him against President Tinubu, I assure you the corpse will win the election in 2027,” he said.

He further alleged that the APC-led administration had been working to weaken opposition parties, including the PDP, SDP, NNPP, Labour Party, and ADC.

“I want to touch on one important point: we have seen that the APC and its government have tried to destroy the PDP, SDP, NNPP, Labour Party and the ADC,” he added.

Galadima urged members of the opposition to remain resilient in the face of pressure, insisting that unity and courage would be key to overcoming what he described as political intimidation from those in power.
