Eze is celebrating his birthday today, August 22nd.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Tonto hailed the clergyman as God's gift to the world.
She wrote: “A REMARKABLE BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE TO MY PAPA, PASTOR JERRY EZE @realjerryeze
Today, I stand with a heart full of gratitude, reverence, and unspeakable joy to celebrate not just a man but a divine gift: my papa, my covering, my mentor, my father, Pastor Jerry Eze.
Papa, today we rise to say, “Thank you for saying yes to God!”
Your life is a living altar of prayer, power, and purpose. Through you, destinies are being realigned, generations awakened, and the nations stirred into revival.
As it is written in Isaiah 61:1,
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek…”
This scripture finds its embodiment in you, Papa. You are indeed God’s anointed voice crying out in our wilderness, declaring “WHAT GOD CANNOT DO DOES NOT EXIST!”
We see the oil of joy upon your head, the fire of intercession in your spirit, and the unwavering love of a father in your heart. You have fed us with the bread of heaven, watered our lives with the rain of revelation, and shielded us with your unwavering prayers.
Like Jeremiah 3:15 says:
“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
We know without a doubt that you are a shepherd after God’s own heart. A man whose steps are ordered. A man of honour, integrity, and relentless pursuit of God.
Papa, your birthdays are not just personal milestones; they are global reminders of God’s faithfulness in raising voices of transformation in our generation.
You are more than a man; you are a movement.
You are more than a pastor; you are a prophetic firebrand. And we are honoured to call you Father”.
On this day, we declare over you:
📖 Psalm 92:10 –
“But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.”
May fresh oil never cease to flow upon your life and ministry.
📖 Numbers 6:24-26 –
“The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee…”
Papa, may the Lord increase your influence, preserve your joy, and multiply your impact. May your latter years be even greater than your former.
So today, we don’t just say Happy Birthday.
We say, “Thank you, Lord, for Pastor Jerry Eze.”
