Davido slams APC supporters who called him out for his tweet

Davido engaged in a war of words with fans on X (Twitter) after one of his posts rubbed APC supporters the wrong way. 

 The singer had posted, "Nigeria politics and film trick."

A follower replied: "Anytime wey APC get any good judgment you go come rush tweet." 

 Davido hit back, writing: "1. Never said nothing about judgement. 

 "2. The Pple wey you Dey defend … u fit go chop for their house ? But guess what? I CAN."

Another X user replied: "Go chop with Oyetola, ode!"

The user was referring to Adegboyega Oyetola, the former Osun State Governor, who Davido's uncle Ademola Adeleke defeated in the 2022 governorship election. 

So Davido threw shade, writing: "U mean the former governor?" 

The Twitter user then told Davido that his uncle will also become a former governor someday. 

He wrote: "Your uncle will become former one day. Maybe by 2026 or more. You need to act to your age and stop being a banger boy. Rest!" 

Davido replied: "Bingo who release u from cage today. From today ur new name is Bingo … stop distracting me I’m counting money."
