Man arrested in Ogun after killing wife in Lagos

A 34-year-old man, Adebiyi Samuel, has been arrested by operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ogun State for the alleged murder of his wife, Ogungbe Serah.

It was alleged that Samuel murdered his 27-year-old wife at Lekki Phase II in Lagos and fled to Ogun State.

Deputy Commander of the Amotekun Corps, Aina Oluwakayode said on Thursday, August 17, that the suspect was arrested on Monday, August 14, at Ijebu-Igbo in Ijebu North Local Government Area of the state.

Oluwakayode said the suspect has confessed to the crime and would soon be handed over to the police for further interrogation and prosecution.
