Why my marriage to Chris Attoh failed – Damilola Adegbite

Nollywood actress, Damilola Adegbite, has finally opened up about her reason for divorcing actor Chris Attoh after only two years of marriage. 

 After welcoming a son together in 2014, the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2015.

 The pair had met on the set of the award-winning soap opera “Tinsel.”

During an interview with prominent journalist Chude Jideonwo, the actress revealed that they had realized that “love is not enough” and that this was the reason for their separation.

The couple officially divorced in September 2017, but Damilola has stated that she has no regrets about ending her marriage.

The single mother also emphasized that she still holds Chris Attoh in high regard because he is the father of their son.

According to her, love is only one of the many qualities that are necessary when choosing someone to spend one’s life with, and it is not the only deciding factor.

She said, <i>“Love is not enough. When you meet somebody and you want to spend your life with them, love is just one of the qualities that you need. But it is not everything.”</i>
