World War III is the number one trending topic after Russian military fully invades Ukraine

World War III is the number one trending topic on Twitter after Russia launched a full scale military invasion of Ukraine on Thursday morning, February 24.

 The Russian military says it has neutralized the Ukrainian air force while the Ukranian air force claims to have shot down five Russian jets. None of these claims have been verified independently. 

 Many are of the opinion that NATO and the US won't sit idly and watch Russia massacre the Ukranian military while some are making light of the situation saying they could be mobilized if the world war starts.

I live in Ukraine. There is shelling, martial law has been imposed. Russia is attacking everywhere. People start to panic, someone is trying to leave the city. Queues at gas stations/stores/ ATMs. And hearing jokes about World War III isn't funny at all.
