Many feared dead as unknown gunmen attack Abia cattle market

Several persons were reportedly killed when gunmen invaded a newly-built cattle market in Omumauzor in Ukwa West local area of Abia state. 

 The attack happened late on Tuesday night, Feb. 15. Security operatives have taken over the area to maintain peace. 

 The attack comes less than two weeks after the Abia State Government moved traders from Ahia Udele cattle market to Omumauzor following a fatal truck accident in the area.
