We’ll kill or marry her off if our demands are not met – Abductors of Benue Corps member to family

The banditry group responsible for the kidnapped of Iorliam Jennifer Awashima, a Youth Corps member who was abducted on her way to NYSC Orientation camp in Kebbi State where she was posted, has reached out to her family. 

 According to family sources, the bandits have already made contact and threatened to kill or marry off the victim if their demand of N3 million ransom is not met within the shortest possible time.

 Jennifer, a graduate of the Department Of English, Benue State University, was kidnapped in Zamfara State on Tuesday evening on her way to Kebbi State where she was mobilized for her NYSC.

 “The bandits called, they’re demanding for 3million naira last. 

 “They said if we don’t pay the money they will either kill her or marry her off,” a family member simply identified as Juliet said according to a screenshot posted by popular Benue social media influencer, Krayzietee Atu. Neither the Police nor NYSC has reacted to the development as at the time of filing this report
