Nigeria Records 637 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 637 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 188,880.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday. “On the 25th of August 2021, 637 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 188, 880 cases have been confirmed, 169,382 cases have been discharged and 2,288 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos(322), Rivers(70), Edo(54), Delta(34), Akwa-Ibom(31), Kwara(31), FCT(29), Ekiti(17), Ogun(14), Osun(10), Kebbi(8), (Cross River(5), Plateau(30), Taraba(3), (Bayelsa(2), Benue(1), Enugu(1), and Kano(1).
