Nigeria Records 505 New Cases f COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 505 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 175,264.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Tuesday. “On the 3rd of August 2021, 505 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 175,264 cases have been confirmed, 165,122 cases have been discharged and 2,160 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos (273),  Rivers(83), Oyo(45), Ondo(22), Cross-River(18), Kaduna(13), Ogun(10) Gombe(10), FCT(8),  Ekiti(7), Delta(6),  Bayelsa(3), Edo(2),and Niger(1).
