Nigeria Records 444 New Cases Of COVID 19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 444 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 174,759.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Monday. “On the 2nd of August 2021, 444 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 174,759 cases have been confirmed, 165,037 cases have been discharged and 2,160 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos (275),  Rivers(63), Akwa-Ibom(62), Gombe(22), Ogun(8), FCT(4), Edo(3) Imo(2), Kano(1),  Nasarawa(1), Sokoto(1),  Jigawa(1), and Ebonyi(1).
