Nigeria Records 422 New Cases Of COVID 19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 422 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 178,508.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Monday. “On the 9th of August 2021, 422 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 178,508 cases have been confirmed, 165,982 cases have been discharged and 2,192 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .the NCDC said.

The Affected states include; Lagos (190), Rivers(86), 0gun(35), Oyo(22), FCT(20), Kwara(7), Edo(5) Abia(4), and Bayelsa(3).
