Nigeria Records 45 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 45 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 166,191.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday. “On the 27th of May 2021, 45 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 166,191 cases have been confirmed, 156, 535 cases have been discharged and 2,071 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .

 “The 45 new cases are reported from 5 states- Lagos (27), Rivers (14), Kaduna (2), Jigawa(1), and Ekiti(1),” the NCDC said.
