Nigeria Records 43 New Cases Of COVID 19 Infections

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 43 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 165,852.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday. “On the 18th of May 2021, 43 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 165,852 cases have been confirmed, 156, 456cases have been discharged and 2,067 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory .

 “The 53 new cases are reported from 6 states- Lagos (19), Rivers(14), Katsina(5), Jigawa(3), Kano(1) and Oyo(1),” the NCDC said.
