Nigeria Records 80 New Cases Of COVID 19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 89 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the country to 164,080.

 The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Thursday. “On the 15th of April 2021, 80 new confirmed cases was recorded in Nigeria. 

 “Till date, 164,080 cases have been confirmed, 154,285 cases have been discharged and 2,061 deaths have been recorded in 11 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

 “The 89 new cases are reported from 5 states- Lagos (29), Fct(1), Edo(4), Osun(4), Plateau(4), Nasarawa(2), Akwa Ibom(4) Oyo(1), Ogun(3), Kano(3) and Rivers(19),” the NCDC said.
