Nigerians are reacting to the revelations made by CNN in its investigation of Lekki shooting incident that took place on Tuesday, October 20.

 As they applauded the international media house for carrying out a detailed investigation of the incident and making some revelations, they wondered how the Federal government will react to the revelations made during the investigation. 

 Japheth Omojuwa pointed out that the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission sadly has no powers to sanction CNN over the detailed investigation. See their tweets below

#LekkiMassaccre was 20/10/2020. The CNN investigation came out to the public 18/11/2020.

They contacted the Nigerian Army and Lagos Govt to give it to them- they were turned down.

In <4weeks, foreign media gave us the truth with evidences- ahead of the govt.

The CNN footage is very well documented. I also love the fact that they went ahead to run an investigation even after Buhari told the international community to mind their business. It's human lives taken for absolutely nothing & someone has to answer for them.
