37-year-old woman arrested for allegedly stabbing mother-in-law to death in Niger state

37-year-old Fatima Sani from Gobirawa village in Mashegu Local Government Area of Niger state, has been arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing her mother-in-law to death.



The suspect reportedly stabbed her 70-year-old mother-in-law identified as Aishatu Umaru, following a misunderstanding with her husband Sani Umaru, which resulted in a divorce.

Fatima committed the said offence after accusing Umaru of instigating the divorce between her and her husband.
