Twitter users blast Sugar Belly after she tweeted 'Pete Edochie is a really bad actor

Fans of veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie, have taken to social media platform, Twitter to blast user @sugarbelly after she criticized Edochie as a really bad actor, adding that he's been acting the same role all his life.



Sugar Belly's criticism comes a day after reports came out that Genevieve Nnaji's film 'Lionheart' was disqualified from Oscars nomination by the Oscars selection committee for speaking too much English in the film.

In the film, Pete Edochie starred as Genevieve Nnaji's billionaire father, and Sugar Belly stated that the veteran actor has been playing the same role all his life.

Fans pointed out to Sugar Belly that Edochie has played so many roles in the past and doesn't deserve such criticism from her as he is a fantastic actor.

The fact that Pete Edochie tends to be typecast as the wise old King/Chief in most Nollywood flicks doesn't necessarily make him a bad actor.

Samuel L. Jackson is one of Hollywood's most typecast actors and the man has an Oscar nomination.
