Osun threatens to prosecute Oyetola’s potraits sellers

Osun State Government has warned against the sale of the unapproved portrait of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola, saying anyone caught doing so would be prosecuted.

To buy the official portrait of the governor, a statement issued by the Coordinating Director in the Ministry of Information and Strategy, Mr Adebisi Popoola, urged corporate organisations and individuals to pay the sum of N7,500 only to any bank in the state.

In the statement obtained in Osogbo on Saturday, Popoola further explained that the portrait would be available for collection as from Monday (today) upon the presentation of the E-receipt generated after payment. He said, “Henceforth, anybody caught hawking or displaying fake governor’s portrait, without the security imprint therein, will be officially prosecuted,” the statement added.
