Senator Dino Melaye Reacts To Burnt Schools

The senator has reacted to the schools he was supposed to commission yesterday but were allegedly razed down Tuesday night by hoodlums in Kogi State. Why reacting to the unfortunate incident,



The Kogi State government also condemned the burning of the constituency projects saying, 'Irrespective of who is doing the project, the fund is from the government. So whether it is the executive or legislative, such projects should rather be applauded and not destroyed".

Dino Melaye has now shared photos of the burnt schools with a promise to rebuild them immediately.

'I will rebuild the burnt structure immediately, Sad that anyone will out of bitterness and politics destroyed what I provided for the poor masses to benefit from. Heaven will judge us all. Newly built classroom burnt down by wicked agents of the state. We are not perturbed. Light will always overcome darkness' Dino Melaye said.

But then, even when politics is being played, do they have to make it affect the real people they claim they are fighting for? Melaye’s kids won’t attend these schools, it’s meant for the poor masses. Is their goal not to give the masses a better life? So why will anyone burn the structures?
